Australian Human Rights Commission
The Commission administers, and takes complaints made under, four federal laws relating to human rights and discrimination. Complaint types include - race, sex, pregnancy, marital status, disability, sexual preference and age. The Commission's services are free to you.

ACT
The ACT Human Rights Commission (the Commission) is an independent statutory agency established by the Human Rights Commission Act 2005 (the HRC Act).
NSW
The Board is part of the NSW Department of Justice and takes complaints made under the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act.
NT
Anti-Discrimination Commission
The Commission aims to eliminate discrimination from happening by raising awareness about an
individual's rights and responsibilities under the Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Act.
QLD
Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland
The Commission administers the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 that aims to promote equality of opportunity for everyone by protecting them from unfair discrimination in various areas of public life and from sexual harassment.
SA
The Commission takes complaints made under the SA Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
TAS
Equal Opportunity Tasmania (Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner)
The Commission can deal with complaints made under the Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Act 1998.
VIC
Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission
Takes complaints about human rights, disability rights, race discrimination and sex discrimination, under three laws - the Equal Opportunity Act 2010, the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001 and the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006.
WA
The Commission takes complaints made under the WA Equal Opportunity Act 1985.
