The Workers Compensation Independent Review Office (WIRO) deals with complaints by injured workers about the conduct of their workers compensation insurer that affects their entitlements, rights or obligations within the NSW workers compensation scheme. WIRO does not have jurisdiction to deal with complaints by employees of the Commonwealth public sector, coal miners, police officers firefighters or paramedics.
